What you can do

We have built new set of interactive tools to allow you visualize, explore, and analyze data on WASHIMS.

How do we monitor WASHIMS in communities

There are three critical steps to reporting, analyzing, and monitoring community WASH data in WASHIMS:

  • The process begins with a comprehensive baseline of WASH in the communities of a given Local Government. This process helps to establish the WASH status of the communities and gathers all existing for inclusion in WASHIMS.
  • Once the baseline data is established and uploaded to WASHIMS, the LGA WASH focal persons (usually a monitoring and evaluation staff of the WASH Unit or Department) are trained on how to capture data updates and report the same on WASHIMS.
  • Ongoing quality control, data validation, and regular analysis of reported data is carried out by the system administrators at the national and state level.
